Patricia A. Colodonato, 83, formerly of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 11, 2025, at Gracedale Nursing Home in Nazareth. She was the devoted wife of the late Anthony Colodonato who passed away in March of 2019. Born in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Mary (Lennert) Ford.
Patricia spent many years working as a bookkeeper at Valley Memorials in Bethlehem and also enjoyed her time as a travel agent with Tri-County State Bank. She was a faithful member of Saints Simon and Jude Roman Catholic Church in Bethlehem.
Above all, Patricia cherished her family. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Tina, wife of Harry Mellinger of Whitehall and Brian Collins of Bethlehem Twsp.; grandchildren, Michael Colodonato, Brook, wife of Aaron Harding, Travis Collins, Justin Mellinger and wife Shelby, Brittany Collins, and Patrick Collins; great-grandchildren, Seamus, Kody, Walter, Katrina, Ryleigh, Ian, and Laci; and sister, Diane Poehler.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 AM on Friday, July 18, 2025, at Saints Simon & Jude’s R.C. Church at 730 W. Broad St., Bethlehem, PA 18018. A visitation will be held one hour prior from 10:30-11:30 AM in the church. Burial will follow services at Holy Saviour Catholic Cemetery in Bethlehem. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Patricia’s memory may be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, care of the funeral home, and sent to 25-27 North Second Street, Slatington, PA 18080. Harding Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with arrangements.
