Patricia Coolidge

Patricia (Plude) Coolidge was born on April 9, 1952, in Burlington, VT to Morton and Antoinette (Boccio) Plude. She was the youngest of three children. Her siblings, Rose Marie Talcott and George Plude pre-deceased her.
Patti graduated from Burlington High School in 1972 and later married Merwin Coolidge on March 23, 1974. Together they had a son, Jason Coolidge.
Patti enjoyed coloring, reading, watching tv and movies, listening to music, laughing and chatting with friends and family. She LOVED children. Family meant a lot to Patti. She was a very devoted mother and grandmother. She is survived by her son, Jason Coolidge and her four grandchildren Elayne Glover, Alexis Godfrey, Gavin Godfrey, and Lucas Reinke. She also had several nieces and nephews; Terri Talcott Hopkins, John Talcott Jr., Tom Plude, David Plude, Mary Trombly, Beth McDowell as well as many cousins and extended family members.
Patti got baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses on October 18, 2020. Her faith in Jehovah God's promises for the future gave her a wonderful hope. This hope helped her face her death without fear and at peace. She enjoyed sharing her hope with those that cared for her. She especially looked forward to the day when she will be resurrected and can surprise her brother that she got baptized, and then together they can teach their resurrected family members about Jehovah.
Patti will be missed by her congregation and special friends Lorelei Mongeau and Jane Germaine, as well as her community at Meadow Lane Apartments in Milton. Patti passed away peacefully on October 26, 2025 at her home surrounded by family.
A memorial service will be held on November 22, 2025 at 3:30 pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 610 Main Street, Colchester, VT.
