Patricia Corn Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Vander Plaat Funeral Home - Wyckoff on Dec. 11, 2025.
Patricia "Patty" Moskal Corn, 65, of Wyckoff, passed away peacefully on December
8, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer. She left this world surrounded by her
husband and their five children, the family she devoted her life to nurturing.

Born February 9, 1960, in Seattle, WA to Cecelia (Connors) and Harry Moskal, Patty
was the eldest of five sisters and stepped naturally into the role of leader and protector.
At age 11, her family moved to Allendale, NJ, where she formed lifelong friendships and
met her future husband and fellow Northern Highlands alumni, Marc Corn. They married
on February 5, 1984, and built 42 years of deep partnership grounded in love, respect,
and shared purpose.

Patty was the heart and matriarch of a large, close-knit family. She created a home rich
with tradition-daily family dinners, magical Christmases, summers at Crestwood Lake,
and beloved vacations in Long Beach Island. Her greatest joy was her children and later
her eleven grandchildren, each of whom she cherished with unwavering attention and
love. Her devotion formed a legacy of unity, warmth, and enduring family bonds.

Driven, creative, and fearless, Patty was also a natural entrepreneur. Over the years
she founded several ventures, including Backyard Art, Preppy Player and Premier
Pickleball. She brought determination and originality to everything she pursued.

Athleticism was central to Patty's spirit. An avid skier and ski instructor, and fierce
competitor in all racquet sports, she became a founding force in the growth of pickleball
in northern New Jersey. She played, taught, and inspired others on and off the court,
cultivating lifelong friendships through sport.

Patty leaves behind her husband: Marc; their five children: Joshua Corn and his wife
Laura, Ryan Corn and his wife Jacqueline, Michaela Brennan and her husband Conor,
Rebecca Kritzman and her husband Gio, and Kevin Corn and his girlfriend Bryn
Bradshaw-Mack; her eleven grandchildren: Griffin, Caleb, Quinn, Dylan, Camilla,
Cameron, Blake, Owen, Evelyn, Boden and Navy; her father: Harry Moskal; her four
sisters, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.

Patty is predeceased by her mother: Cecelia Moskal.

Our deepest sympathies to you , Marc, Josh, Ryan, Michaela, Becca, Kevin and your entire , beautiful family. Patty was a blessing to all fortunate enough to know her, and will be dearly missed .
She is in eternal peace now and I pray our Heavenly Father may help the pain and sorrow you are all feeling now; take solace knowing she is now watching over and praying for all of you-
It was always so heartwarming to see your entire family at church during the holidays, and watching them grow as the years would pass--an occasion I looked forward to each year
I wish I was still in the Allendale area to be able to sing at Patty´s mass --but rest assured you will all be in my thoughts and prayers during this most difficult time .
God Bless you all --and keep Patty´s legacy alive while celebrating her life --and the manner in which she touched all those who knew her .
