Patricia "Patty" Dahncke, 82, of Apple Valley, Minnesota, passed away peacefully on October 26, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
Born on May 25, 1943, in Garfield, New Jersey, Patty was the daughter of Florence and Henry Pra. She was married to the late Albert M. Dahncke, with whom she shared a loving and devoted marriage filled with laughter, faith, and family.
Patty was known for her kind heart, gentle spirit, and the warmth she shared so freely with everyone around her. She dedicated her life to her family and friends, always offering love, laughter, and support. She had a passion for singing and a deep love of music, enjoyed volunteering in the community, and was a wonderful cook who delighted in preparing meals for her loved ones. Above all, Patty had a great sense of humor that brought joy and laughter to everyone she met.
She is survived by her son, Albert H. Dahncke, his wife Susan Dahncke, her cherished grandchildren AJ and Sammy Dahncke, and her brothers Thomas and Henry, as well as countless friends and loved ones who were blessed to share in her life.
A celebration of Patty's life will be held at Shepard of the Valley Church, 12650 Johnny Cake Ridge Road, Apple Valley, MN 55124, on November 22, 2025. A Visitation will be held at 10:00am, Memorial Service at 11:00am, with a luncheon to follow. Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance of a woman whose love, generosity, and joyful spirit touched so many hearts.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Parkinson's Foundation in Patty's memory.
Her family and friends will forever hold her laughter, love, and beautiful spirit close in their hearts.
