Patricia A. Danon

Patricia Ann Danon, 65, of Honesdale, died unexpectedly on Sunday, October 8, 2023.
Born on August 23, 1958 in Queens, NY, she was the daughter of the late Milton and Virginia (Cornell) Bloodgood. She loved her mother and the close relationship that they had. Growing up in Far Rockaway, NY, she enjoyed spending time in Central Park in Manhattan watching the birds. Pat was an adventurous person who was known as the person who jumped off the pier in Far Rockaway.
After moving to Honesdale, she held several jobs working at Woodloch and Bethany Village in the kitchens. She also held other positions in the service industry.
Pat was of the Mormon faith and appreciated the friendships she made through her faith. She was also a longtime friend of Bill W. and was very appreciative of his support and friendship. She was involved with the Native American Community of Pennsylvania and enjoyed attending Pow Wows.
Surviving is her daughter, Elizabeth Danon and her husband, Suhas Kataria of Alexandria, VA; her friend and former husband, Jack Danon of Alexandria, VA. Pat also loved her dog, Teddy.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 16th at Hessling Murray Funeral Home, 428 Main St. Honesdale at 11 am. Interment will follow in Indian Orchard Cemetery, Honesdale. Friends may visit on Monday, 10 am until the time of service.
