We are heartbroken to announce the death of Patricia Anna Deggs (also known as Mary Alberta Londo) affectionately called Ann by her siblings and family, and Pat by her friends. Pat died on April 1st in Orlando, FL. She was a lovely, giving, funny, loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend, who will be deeply missed. She spent her life exploring and traveling the world (she visited 5 continents during her lifetime), indulging in delicious cuisines, attending plays, concerts and musicals, collecting rare coins, raising her family, attending family reunions and Paul Breux High School reunions, giving help to anyone that was in need and practicing her faith. Pat wore many hats during her careers, including working as a merchandiser, buyer, USO volunteer, Girl Scout & Boy Scout Leader, Bus Driver, Tour Mobile Operator, Retailer, Makeup Artist, Tupperware Salesperson, Volunteer Theater Usher and US Census Enumerator.
Pat is survived by her husband and high school sweetheart of 60 years, Francis Paul Deggs, her son Michael E Deggs (wife, Alexandra) her daughter, Angela Deggs, grandchildren Dana Deggs (partner Horacio Hall), Moira Deggs and Travis Deggs (Kenneth and Gail) Her brothers Mitchell St. Julien, Joseph Londo, Jr., Kenneth Londo, Ronnie Londo and sisters Rachael Polite, Donna Londo-Jones and Sherry Londo-Thomas mourn the loss of their beloved sister.
Ann is also survived by her hundreds of cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and grandchildren by love, Lauren Webb and Gary Bacon (Gail Deggs), Allyson, Jake and William Goldberg. (Ken and Amy Goldberg).
She will be joining her youngest son, Kenneth J. Deggs (widow, Gail Deggs), her parents Dorothy Davis and Joseph Londo, Sr., Maternal Grandmother, Harriet Mays, her brothers Leonard Jones, Jr. Percy St. Julien, Jr., James "George" Lando and her sisters Gwendolyn Jones and Florence Comeaux in heaven.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Deggs will be held at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 5900 Oleander Drive, Orlando, FL at 11:00 am on April 12th, with a viewing at 10:30 am preceding the funeral.
Burial will be at The Florida National Cemetery in Mims, FL under the direction of Brewer & Sons Funeral Home, following the funeral service at 2:30 pm. Repast details will be provided after Mrs. Deggs' funeral service.
Pat always said, hope no one wears black to my funeral.
