Patricia A. Dundore, 83, of Lebanon passed away on Friday, July 4th, 2025, at Alpine Valley Post Acute and Healthcare Center, Lebanon. She is survived by her loving husband, Herman W. Dundore.
Born in Lancaster, PA on June 26th, 1942, she was the oldest daughter of the late Russell and Esther (Heisey) Shiner.
In addition to her husband, Patricia is survived by her daughter, Amy Donnachie, wife of Keith of Lebanon, two grandchildren, Rachel Turley, wife of Timothy, Aaron Donnachie, husband of Willow, and four great grandchildren, Jackson Turley, Flynn Turley, Ezra Donnachie, and Rory Donnachie.
She is also survived by five siblings, Sandy Stormfeltz, wife of Timothy of Cleona, Jere Shiner, husband of Anita of Lebanon, Gary Shiner, husband of Nancy of Cleona, Greg Shiner, husband of Denise of Manheim, and David Shiner of Idaho.
Patricia was an educator for 35 years with the Cornwall-Lebanon School District, teaching a 4th & 5th grade transition class at Ebenezer Elementary School. She earned a master's degree +60 credits from Millersville University and served as a Teacher of the Gifted at Cedar Crest Middle School. She finished her career as the Learning Facilitator at Cornwall Elementary School.
Patricia was a realtor and an Associate Broker for 47 years with Suburban Realty in Annville, Pa. She loved helping her clients buy homes, because she believed that home ownership was the best investment. She and her husband invested in real estate, purchasing and remodeling homes and apartments in Lebanon County.
Herman and Patricia travelled the world with their family, visiting countries on six continents. Always the educator, Patricia enjoyed learning about the culture, geography, food, language, and currency of each country.
Patricia's generosity and concern for others was evident in the lives of her family and friends. She seldom took time for herself, except to fight Parkinson's disease for almost 20 years with courage and determination.
A public viewing will be held from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, at Lebanon Bible Fellowship Church, 1635 Mill Road Lebanon, PA 17042. Funeral services will follow the viewing at the Church. Interment will be held in Fairview Cemetery in Iona. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research, P.O. Box 5014 Hagerstown, MD 21741, in her memory.

I remember Mrs. Dundore as a teacher of mine in fifth grade at Ebenezer School. She was one remarkable teacher. She taught us a lot about Bicentennial things Her and her husband took us to the circus in their motorhome and left a sleepover that night along with Amy. Those are the fond memories I have of everybody in that family RIP , Mrs. Dundore you will be greatly missed.
