Patricia Foote

PATRICIA DONAGHUE FOOTE, 74, died on Saturday, September 27, 2025 at Novant Hospital in Bolivia, NC. She was the beloved wife to Stephen C. Foote for 37 years.

Patty was born on July 28,1951 in Hartford CT to Frank and Jeannette (Dumont) Donahue. A long-time resident of Hartford, CT, she attended South Catholic High School. After receiving a degree in accounting she was employed by AAA in West Hartford CT. full-time for her entire 46-year career, retiring as Vice President. For many years, Patty and Steve lived in Old Wethersfield, CT. They enjoyed years of boating and fishing in New England, the east coast and throughout Florida.

In 2015 they retired to Leland, NC. making many new friends. Patty especially enjoyed cooking and walking for miles in her community. She loved to travel and visited more than 30 countries. Later she and Steve traveled the United States in their travel van.

She leaves her stepson Gregory Foote and his wife, Cholla, of Cape Elizabeth Maine,and their children Olivia and Dylan. She also leaves her brother Barry Donaghue and his wife, Joanne LeBrun Donaghue of Leland and her niece and goddaughter Erin Maguire Donaghue of Beacon, NY. She will also be deeply missed by all the Foote and Donaghue families.

The family extends their thanks to Dr. Nevis-Arriba of The Zimmer Cancer Center and to the medical staff and particularly the ICU staff of Novant Hospital in Bolivia for their care.

A Celebration of Life will be held in Connecticut at a later date.
