Patricia Ann (Sanderson) Frederick age 86, of Rockton, Illinois died January 23, 2024.
Pat was born February 14, 1937 in Chicago, Illinois. The daughter of Herbert and Alvina (Johnson) Sanderson. She graduated from Shabbona High School and attended Rockford Business School. Pat married Lawrence Frederick on December 3, 1955. She worked at Fair Oaks nursing home for 17 years and also at the Salvation Army as director of their senior center.
Over the years she led Bible studies, taught Sunday School, was on the Beloit Christian Women's Club board and served on a number of church committees. Pat was a member of Hope Evangelical Free Church, Roscoe, Illinois.
In addition to Pat's love for the Word of God she had a passion for making beautiful and intricate cards for all occasions for her family, friends and loved ones.
Survivors include her husband, Lawrence, two daughters, Julie Frederick of Beloit, Wisconsin and Jodeen (Michael) Tatge of Waukesha, Wisconsin. 5 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Pat was preceded in death by her son David. Thank you to Mercy Health Hospice for their wonderful care.
Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, February 10, 2024 in Hope Evangelical Free Church, 5656 Elevator Road, Roscoe, IL. The visitation will be held at the Church from 10 am until time of Ceremony Saturday.
Memorials in her name may be made out to Hope Church or Alpha l foundation @ alpha1.org.
