Patricia Gardner, 84, passed away on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at Johnson City Medical Center, Johnson City, Tennessee, surrounded by her family and loved ones. Patricia was born in the Republic of Panama on May 27, 1940, the daughter of Geoffrey Weeks, Sr. and Margarita Marie Gonzales Weeks. Patricia was a homemaker and seamstress and worked in this profession several years.
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Geoffrey and Margarita Weeks; sister, Mary Jane Weeks; husband, Daniel Lee Gardner, Sr. and daughter, Denise Gardner-Young.
Those left to cherish her memory is her son, Daniel Gardner, II, (Tonya); grandchildren, Daniel Gardner, III (Danielle), Brittany Gardner, Darin Gardner (Gwendolyn), Jared Gardner (Kelsie), Destiny Wolfe and Alex Wolfe; great-grandchildren, Brice Gardner and Hayden Gardner; sisters, Irene Cook and Mimi Davis; brothers, Joseph Weeks and Geoffrey Weeks, Jr. (Pillar); and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will host a visitation from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, in the Chapel of Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home in Blountville, Tennessee. The funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. with Father Michael Cummins officiating. Burial will follow in the Garden of Solomon at Hamlett-Dobson Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Daniel Gardner, II, Daniel Gardner, III, Darin Gardner, Jared Gardner, Darin Knoll and Alex Wolfe.
