Patricia Garland Obituary
Patty was born on September 9, 1942, in Lackey, Floyd County, Kentucky, to Everett Wells and Kathleen Fitzpatrick. She was first married to James Stewart, and the two later parted ways. On June 20, 1986, she married James Garland, who preceded her in death on June 1, 2021.
She spent many years working in Packaging at Biomet in Warsaw. Patty loved playing Bingo in both Warsaw and Silver Lake, and she cherished every moment spent with her family. In her earlier years, she also enjoyed traveling with them.
She is survived by son Fred and Kathryn Stewart of Atlanta, GA; daughter Melissa and husband Ben Diamond of Warsaw; grandchildren Brittian and wife Rebecca Stewart, Braxton Stewart, and Brice Stewart and fiancé Anija Martin, Zachary Diamond, Justin Diamond, Elliot Stewart, Madeline Stewart; great grandchildren Delaney, Olivia, and Brice Jr.; sister Arredia Phillips of Lexington, KY.
Patty was preceded in death by her parents, husband Jim (2021), son Eric Todd Stewart (2025).
Following her wishes, no services will be held at this time.
The arrangements have been entrusted to Hartzler Funeral Home 305 West Rochester Street Akron, Indiana.
