Patricia Ann Hogan Gleeson of Mebane, NC, passed away peacefully on February 1, 2026, at home. She was 77 years old.
Born on April 26, 1948, in Burlington, NC, to Marie Wagner Hogan and Richard Thomas Hogan, Patricia, Pat to her loved ones, lived a full and meaningful life devoted to her family.
Pat had a gift for making everyone feel welcome. She found her greatest joy in two places: her garden and surrounded by her family. Whether she was tending to her flowers or enjoying time with the little ones, Pat's face would light up with pure happiness. Her family was her pride and joy. Her garden was a reflection of her warm and welcoming spirit, cultivated with great care and love, always blooming with color and life.
She is survived by her children, Allister Stuart Littell and James Courtney Gleeson; grandchildren Zachary Stuart Littell and wife Autumn, Kaitlin Marie Littell, Jacob Alexander Littell and wife Mackenzie, Lana Ashworth Gleeson, and Avery Kathryn Gleeson; great-grandchildren Wyatt Littell, Drew Littell, and Easton Littell; and brother Richard Hogan II. She was preceded in death by her parents, Marie and Richard Hogan, and brother Steve Hogan.
A visitation celebrating her life will be held on February 7, 2026, from 5pm-7pm at Walker’s Funeral Home in Mebane, NC.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Mebane Community Garden in her memory. Money donated in her memory should be made out to Mebane Community Garden, PO Box 41, Mebane NC 27302, by venmo: @MebaneWomansClub or online through the Mebane Women’s Club website– www.mebanewomensclub.org.
