Obituary published on Legacy.com by Harold W. Vick Funeral Home, Inc. - Mount Clemens on Sep. 29, 2025.
Patricia Jean Green, resident of Harrison Township, Michigan, passed away early on Sunday morning, September 28, 2025, at the age of 88.
Born October 28, 1936, to the late John W. and Edna Sanderson Griffin, Patricia was one of three children and carried the values of love, resilience, and generosity throughout her life. Though she spent her later years as a devoted homemaker, she dedicated over 25 years to medical billing, serving in various medical offices with diligence and care.
Patricia embraced life with joy and curiosity. She loved dancing, playing a game of chance at the casino, and soaking in the natural beauty of "Pure Michigan" at property in Gaylord, near the banks of the Au Sable River. Quiet time at home gave her an opportunity to settle back and watch classic films-especially those starring the incomparable Bette Davis-a star from that era. Keeping her hands busy, she created handmade pillows and blankets, each accompanied by a heartfelt handwritten poem, that became treasured keepsakes for those lucky enough to receive them.
An adventurous spirit, Patricia enjoyed traveling by trains, planes, and automobile. Snowbird seasons spent in Yuma, Arizona and Florida brought her lasting memories and sunshine-filled days.
The word SPORTS certainly caught her attention! Tennis being her favorite sport, but she was a true enthusiast. Patricia knew stats and players across the spectrum-from curling to football-and proudly claimed three Football Fantasy league championships. Her knowledge and competitive spirit were legendary.
But above all, Patricia's heart belonged to her family. She was the cornerstone of generations, the best mom, grandmother, and great-grandmother her loved ones could ever ask for. Her kitchen was a place of love, where meals were served with warmth and laughter. Her legacy is one of devotion, strength, and unwavering affection.
Patricia is survived by her children: Laura (Amante) Lanzon, Lisa (James) Ziskie, Philip (Maureen) Romeo, Paul Romeo and Luanne (Thomas) Beaujean, grandchildren Lynn Marie (Jason) Byrne, Lauren (Kyle) Kinderzieski, Jacob (fiancée Tayia) Beaujean, Mark (Andrea) Hancock and Meghan Siler. The family tree grows stronger with the addition of great grandchildren Lydia Byrne, Lucas and Landon Kinderzieski, Attalia and Bently Hancock and Cora Siler. Also surviving is brother John (the late Sharon) Griffin, nieces, nephews and extended family. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by husbands Joseph Romeo, and James Green and sister Delores (Kenneth) Clise.
Memorial Mass will take place on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at St. Isidore Catholic Church, 18201 23 Mile Road, Macomb, Michigan 48042, instate at 9:30 am for a 10:00 am service.
