Patricia Heidler

Patricia L. "Patti" (Day) Heidler, 79, entered into rest Wednesday, September 11th, 2024, at Life Care Center at Inverrary after a lengthy illness with family by her side.



She was the wife of the late Joseph V. Heidler Jr. with whom she celebrated 33 years of marriage. They lived together in York and North Palm Beach, Florida before relocating to Port St. Lucie in 2016.



Patti was born February 12, 1945, in York, the daughter of the late Russell A. and Rosa E. (Reever) Day. She lived a rich and full life characterized by her love for cooking and traveling. A gourmet cook, much like Julia Child, Patti could talk for hours about recipes and was a "foodie" long before the term existed. She loved entertaining family and friends, most notably for the holidays. She also loved traveling with her husband and had many adventures all over the world.



She was a kind and loving mother, and grandmother who will be greatly missed. Patti is survived by her loving daughters, Stephanie Boldin and her husband Michael of Newtown Square, PA, Melissa Valdes and her husband Luis of Plantation, FL and Jennifer Mader and her husband John of Red Lion, PA. She was most proud of her six grandchildren, Jonathan and David Boldin, Ethan and Olivia Valdes, and Owen and Evan Mader. She also leaves behind her brother, Barry Day and his wife Angie of Spring Grove, PA; and two nephews, Barry and Craig Day. Patti was predeceased by her loving husband in 2020 and her brother Ronald R. Day.



A private family memorial will be planned at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to The Camphill School, 1784 Fairview Road, Glenmoore, PA 19343, where her grandson Jonathan attended school. Patti's warmth, generosity and style will be missed by all who knew her.
