Jonathan David Heidler, age 78, of Washington CH, went Home to be with his Lord on Friday, March 28, 2025 at the Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe, while surrounded by his beloved family.
Survivors include his wife, Jane Elizabeth (Reed) Heidler, whom he married on September 27, 1985; his children, Jonathan (Shelly) Heidler, Diane (Corey) Greene, Jamie Lynn Heidler, Ron (Liz) Nichols, and Shawn (Jennifer) Nichols; grandchildren, Logan (Sarah) Greene, Shelby Greene, Hannah (Dylan) Chrisman, Cooper Heidler, Mason Heidler, Brandon and Jared Nichols, and Sumer and Tyler Nichols; six great-grandchildren and one great-great grandson; and eight siblings. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
Jon was known for his amazing craft for repairing knives, his many years of managing auto dealerships, being outdoors, and most importantly, his strong faith in God.
The funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 3, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. at the Heritage Church (1867 US Highway 35 NW, Washington CH, OH 43160) with Dennis Milstead officiating. Family and friends may visit at the Church on Thursday morning from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
