Ms. Patricia Elaine Edwards Johnson, 81 of Autryville went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 24, 2025 at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, July 29, 2025 at Hall’s Methodist Church with Rev. Jennifer Wise and Rev. Andy Wood officiating. Burial follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Monday, July 28, 2025 at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro.

Ms. Johnson was a native of Sampson County, the daughter John Edwards and Dora Jackson Autry. She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Alecia “Maria” Spence Jaibat; and her sister, Diana Docalavich. She was a retired human resource recruiter for the Veterans Administration.

She is survived by a son, Jeff Spence of Autryville; three grandchildren, Zakariah Jaibat, Ryan Jaibat and Sumer Rose Jaibat all of Athens, TN; her significant other for 38 years, Bobby Ezzell of Roseboro; and two brothers, Terry Autry and Rick Autry.

In lieu of flowers memorial may be made to Hall’s Methodist Church, 4621 Minnie-Hall Road, Autryville, NC 28318.
