Patricia Anne Jones, of Littleton, formerly a longtime resident of Acton, died peacefully on Sunday, May 25, 2025 at her home. She was ninety-two years old. She was the beloved wife of the late Leon F. "Junior" Jones who passed away in 1998.
Patricia was born in Berlin, NH, the eldest daughter of the late William and Gertrude (McCarthy) Ashline. She was one of seven children, grew up in Acton, and was a graduate of Acton High School. She worked for many years as a Sales Manager for a local independent cable company, happily working alongside her brother John. Her career brought her all over New England and also included trips throughout the country. She loved her houses, her cars and her pet poodles. In more recent years, she enjoyed caring for her cat Baby. She enjoyed crocheting and creating gifts for loved ones. Friday nights were spent playing cards with family and friends. Patricia and Junior were "snow birds" for several years, leaving the cold winters for Port Orange, FL, where they made many lifelong friends. More than anything, she enjoyed time spent with her family, especially the love of her life Junior, who she has missed dearly for over twenty years.
Patricia is lovingly survived by her daughter, Sheryl Ferrante of Littleton. She was the loving grandmother of Lee, Brigitte, Kathryn and William and had six great-grandchildren. She is also survived by three siblings, Peggy Sharpe, Maureen Pettengill and Robert Ashline. Sadly, in addition to her husband, she was also predeceased by her son William Jones and three siblings Nelson, John and William Ashline.
Relatives and friends are invited to a graveside service on Friday, May 30th at 1:00PM in Mount Hope Cemetery, Central Street, West Acton. Please meet at the cemetery. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the ALS Association (www.als.org).
