Patricia Ann Ketteman, 73 of Effingham, passed away Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at Evergreen Nursing and Rehabilitation in Effingham.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am Saturday, January 7, 2023 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Effingham with burial in Oakridge Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm Friday at Bauer Funeral Home in Effingham. Memorial donations may be given to the Effingham Humane Society or MyMemoryWorx.
Pat was born October 3, 1949 in Effingham, the daughter of Lawrence and Emma (Holkenbrink) Mihlbachler. She enjoyed watching St. Louis Cardinal baseball, Illini Basketball; playing tennis, bowling, and dancing. Pat loved to travel around the country and was never ready to come home. Her most memorable trip was to Niagra Falls and Toronto, Canada. She enjoyed music by Kelly Clarkson and even attended several of her concerts. Pat loved dogs, especially her dog, Charlie.
Pat is survived by her husband, Rich; daughters, Jill and Jennifer; sister, Jane Swank; brothers-in-law, Patrick Dasenbrock, Raymond Ketteman, John (Shirley) Ketteman, Jesse (Brenda) Ketteman, Ronald (Marilyn) Ketteman, Francis (Debbie) Ketteman, Warren (Lisa) Ketteman, Delbert (friend, Debbie Foster) Ketteman, and William Ketteman; sisters-in-law, Janice (Bradley) Masters and Roselyn (Kevin) Johnson.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Mary Dasenbrock; brother-in-law, Terry Swank; sister-in-law, Mary Ketteman Comp and her husband, Dave Comp.
Patricia was a fun-loving wife and mother. She will be deeply missed.
