Patricia Klinger Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Rannells Funeral Home - Koontz Lake Chapel on Dec. 10, 2025.
Patricia Ann (Patti) Klinger, age 88, passed away peacefully on December 8, 2025, in Koontz Lake, Indiana. Born on October 6, 1937, Patti built a life centered around faith, family, friendship, and love - a life that touched countless hearts.

Patti was the devoted wife of Alfred J. Klinger Sr., and together they created a family legacy that continues to grow and flourish. She is lovingly survived by her children and their spouses: Sharon and Jeff Diangikis, Alfred J. and Eileen Klinger, Christine and Scott Crafton, Linda and Gary Smock, and Patrick and Jael Klinger.

Patti is preceded in death by her husband, Alfred James Klinger Sr.; her daughter Judith Ann Klinger; great granddaughter, Emma Jean Redinger; and grandson Adam John Diangikis. Patti's greatest joy came from her role as matriarch to more than 90 grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, each one a cherished blessing who brought pride, laughter, and new stories to her life.

Patti lived a vibrant and active life. She loved gardening, discovering new places through travel, working puzzles, enjoying bingo nights, and embracing the outdoors through camping. A devoted sports fan, she especially cherished Notre Dame football, proudly attending more than 100 games with friends and family - creating traditions and memories that will be treasured for generations.

A dedicated member of St. Dominic's Church in Koontz Lake, Patti lived her faith through service, compassion, and community. Her warmth, loyalty, and spirited sense of fun made every gathering brighter. She never missed a chance to celebrate, support, or bring people together, and her legacy will be carried on in the hearts of those she loved.

A celebration of Patti's life will be held on December 15, 2025, at 10:00 AM CST at St. Dominic's Church in Koontz Lake.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Dominic's Church, Koontz Lake.
