Patricia A. Kohls, age 86 passed away at Ascension Mercy Medical Center on Wednesday, February 26, 2025. She was born to the late Eugene and Adaline (Diebert) Markofski on October 20, 1938, at home in Berlin, WI. She married Ronald Kohls on July 26, 1958, at St John's Catholic Church in Oshkosh.

Patricia was very active at St Mary's in Omro and MBS St Peter in Oshkosh as a Minister to the Sick/dyeing, Eucharist and Sanctuary with 36 years teaching Catechism. She worked as a punch card operator at Miles Kimball. Later she worked at Fox Valley Technical in the library and study center. Patricia went to Fox Valley Tech for Administration Assistant and many certificates' classes through the Green Bay Dioceses.

Patricia was an artist in water color and very creative. She was a published writer and poet. She loved camping with the family in the woods and traveled with Ron to many states.

Pat is survived by her loving husband Ron, children; Kathy Laabs, Steven (Cindi) Kohls and Diana Kohls-Meyer (Wendell), with 16 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Pat was preceded in death by her brothers David and Daniel.

A mass for Pat will be held at Most Blessed Sacrament- St Peters on Tuesday, March 4th, 2025 at 10AM. A time of visitation will be held from 9AM until the time of service. A private burial will be held with family at Riverside Cemetery in Oshkosh on a later date.

In lieu of flowers donation may be made to a church of your choosing in memory of Pat.

A special thank you to the staff at Arborview Manor where Pat lived for six years and Ascension Mercy Medical Center for their loving care of Pat.
