Patricia Jean Kramer, age 95, of Algonquin, IL, passed away peacefully on October 8, 2025. She was born on July 11, 1930, in Chicago, IL.
Pat was a devoted member of The Congregational Church of Algonquin for over 75 years, where she found faith and friendship. She worked as the beloved school secretary at Eastview Elementary School in Algonquin for 35 years, making strong ties with many families in the community. She enjoyed traveling, social gatherings, and was always up for an adventure. Her one-of-a-kind sense of humor and fun-loving spirit made her a joy to be around. Above all, Pat will be remembered for her love and dedication to her family and friends.
Pat is survived by her daughters, Kim (Larry) Heinemann, and Kelly (Michael) O'Connell; her grandchildren, Kelsey (Jeff) Beshansky, Jennifer (Erik) Krol, Michael (Frédérique) O'Connell; and her adored great-granddaughters, Ava, Nora, Hadley, and Pénélope.
Pat was preceded in death by her husband and love of her life, Harold "Boots" Kramer; and also by her parents, Eugene and Merna Burke; and her brother, Robert Burke.
Pat was loved by all who knew her and her legacy will live on in the hearts of everyone whose lives she touched.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Willow Funeral Home 1415 W. Algonquin Rd., Algonquin.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2025 at 10:00 AM at The Congregational Church of Algonquin, 109 Washington St., Algonquin.
Interment Windridge Memorial Park.
Memorials may be made to The Congregational Church of Algonquin.
