Patricia Lee Krontz, 68 of Dakota City, Nebraska passed away on Thursday, April 10, 2025 at her home, comforted by family. A Celebration of Life Service will be at 4:00 p.m. Friday, April 18, 2025 at Mohr & Becker-Hunt Funeral Home in South Sioux City, Nebraska with Reverend Patti Meyer officiating. Refreshments will follow. Visitation, with the family present, will begin at 3:00 p.m. Friday prior to the service. Interment will be at a later date.
Patricia was born on September 25, 1956 in Sturgis, Michigan to Kenneth M. and Donnadell (Keith) Krontz. Pattie was united in marriage to Darrell Carter, and from this union two daughters were born, Brenda and Becky. The couple were together from 1974 until 1984. Pattie met and married Ronald Frank and they made a life together fostering many children that they loved and cherished. Pattie loved being a mother, foster mother, and grandmother. She was the happiest surrounded by family and friends. Her house was always on open door for family and friends.
Patricia is survived by her husband Ronald of Dakota City, Nebraska; daughters Brenda Zamago, Becky (Kosal) Prak, Kelsey Krontz, Sadie (Darius) Krontz, Destiny Krontz, Danielle Krontz, Shannon (Ryan) Lias, Deanna (Tony) Haukap; sons Luis Bird, Xzavior Krontz and Zander Krontz; grandchildren Orlando (Samantha) Zamago, Angelica Zamago, Adrianna (Tristan) Winey, Ivan Zamago, Isabella Zamago, Traylee (Sloane) Prak, Taylen Prak, Trosten Prak, Avie Remini, Adonis Krontz, Cassius Krontz, Aiyana Krontz, Taiah Ickler, Takira Ickler, Cole Lias, Mackeinzie Haukap, and Kobe Haukap; and eight great-grandchildren.
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, and brothers Gary, Larry, and Mark.
