Patricia Jean Larsen, passed away at her home in Fergus Falls, Minnesota on July 28, 2023.
She was born on August 20, 1931, in Buffalo, New York to her parents Leonard and Jean King and was soon followed by two sisters: Beverly and Joyce. Patricia was baptized in the Lutheran church and grew up embracing the values of faith and kindness. She graduated from high school in California in 1949 and pursued further studies at Saddleback College where she honed her skills in bookkeeping.
She met and married James Larsen in 1963, forming a union between them with three children. Patricia dedicated over twenty years of her life working as an accountant for a company that specialized in manufacturing gun parts.
Beyond her career accomplishments, Patricia lived a life filled with vibrant interests and cherished relationships. She was an active member in the church and also in her TOPS group. She had an unwavering love for dancing and music, which she shared with her husband. She also enjoyed bowling, spending time on the boat, socializing at the beauty salon, and travelling with her husband.
Patricia is preceded in death by her sisters Beverly and Joyce; and her son Dennis.
She is survived by her husband James Larsen; children Keith and Jean Marie; eight grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
A Funeral Mass will be held 11:00 AM place at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Fergus Falls, Minnesota on August 2, 2023, with a visitation beginning at 10. The family is not asking for flowers or gifts, only your presence at the service.
