HUDSON - Patricia J. Lupica, 83, a 50-year resident of Hudson, Ohio, passed away peacefully on March 27th, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on May 27, 1942, in Cleveland, Ohio, to George and Julia Sadowsky. Pat lived a life defined by kindness, creativity, originality, and a deep devotion to her family; touching the lives of all who knew her. She will be remembered for her cheerful smile; clever spirit and the special ways she made everyone feel loved.

Pat was a devoted mother, Gramy and friend. Her family was the center of her world. She is survived by her loving daughters Julianne (Marty) Boise, Jennifer (William) Grega and Natalie (Ben) Koberna; and her cherished grandchildren Jacob and Peter Boise, Trey and Gianna Grega and Jackson, Anna, and Maxton Koberna. She is also survived by her beloved brothers, Tom Sadowsky and Joe (Kathy) Lupica.

Pat enjoyed quilting and sewing, generously donating hundreds of homemade quilts to Project Linus. She also loved antiquing and spent several years selling treasured finds at the Hudson Antique Gallery. A creative spirit, she found joy in painting, crafting, and tending to her beautiful yard and flower gardens. Her home was filled with handmade gifts, colorful blooms and the warmth of gatherings with family and friends. Later in life, she enjoyed snow birding in Melbourne, Floridia.

Pat shared forty-five wonderful years with her beloved husband and soulmate, Peter Lupica, who preceded her in death. Pat and Pete were proud graduates of Bedford High School, Class of 1960, where they were high school sweethearts – beginning a lifelong love story that remained an inspiration to those around them. Together they built a loving family that was the center of their world.

A true animal lover her entire life, the family suggests in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made in Pat’s memory to: One of a Kind Pet Rescue, 1929 West Market Street, Akron, Ohio 44313, or online at www.oneofakindpets.com, an organization she supported that rescues and cares for animals in need.

Private family services have taken place. Interment was held at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Bedford Heights, Ohio.

Patricia’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
