Patricia Ann (nee Jones) Mahe, age 71, died on April 24, 2024 after a brief illness at Mercy Regional Medical Center, Lorain. She was born on July 16, 1952 in Lorain, Ohio.
She was a 1970 graduate of Admiral King High School and attended Oberlin School of Commerce, Lorain County Community College and the Ohio Business College.
She had been employed by various financial institutions throughout the Lorain area as well as retail sales in Elyria & Honolulu, Hawaii. She also made Black Hills Gold Jewelry in South Dakota.
She was a member of the Lorain County Chapter of the Ohio Genealogy Society and had a passion for genealogy and enjoyed researching her family tree. She was able to trace a direct descendant who arrived on the Mayflower in 1620 as well as ancestors who had fought in the American Revolutionary War.
She was formerly a member of Transylvanian Saxon Ladies Lounge & St. John's United Church of Christ, Lorain, where she was baptized and confirmed.
She is survived by her son Russell Mahe, sister Arlene Jones, brother Mark (Myrna) Jones, two nephews, Matthew (Paloma) Jones & Miles Jones, two grandnieces, Flora & Emilia Jones and grandnephew Xavier Jones.
She was preceded in death by her parents Ernest & Anna (nee Binder) Jones and brother Ned Jones.
The family held a private memorial service which was officiated by Rev. David Rogers, Pastor at St. John United Church of Christ, Lorain. It was Patricia's wishes that memorial contributions be made to either the Salvation Army or the American Red Cross.
