Patricia L. "Patty" Marsh, 82, of Washington, passed away with her family by her side Saturday, March 7, 2020.
She was born May 21, 1937, in Washington, a daughter of the late George "Jud" Klinzing and Viola Humphrey Klinzing.
Patty was a 1955 graduate of Washington High School and worked at the Observer-Reporter newspaper for over 30 years, retiring in May 2002.
She was a member of Washington Alliance Church.
Patty loved serving her Lord Jesus Christ first and foremost, along with her flowers and gardening.
In 1964, she married Robert Marsh, who died in 1990.
Surviving are her son, Michael Stewart of Baxley, Ga.; a sister, Nancy Feissner of Missouri; three grandchildren, Sheenan Hatala, Samantha Stewart and Carson Stewart; a nephew, Frank (Jackie) Zitkovich; a niece, Sonya (Bill) Tandy; and a close friend, Sally. Also surviving are several additional grandchildren
Deceased are two sons, Ricky Stewart and David Marsh, and a brother, Dr. John Klinzing.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 11, in Washington Cemetery, with Pastor Brian Greenleaf officiating. Those attending are asked to meet at the cemetery office. Arrangements are entrusted to William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington.
