Patricia McClellan Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Terry's Metropolitan Mortuary on Feb. 3, 2026.
Patricia A. McClellan (née Fagan), a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully in her home in Talladega, Alabama, on Saturday, January 31st, 2026. Born on February 2nd, 1949, in Washington D.C., Patricia was just days shy of her 77th birthday.

A remarkable woman with an unwavering commitment to her family and community, Patricia was predeceased by her loving parents, Allen and Isabel Fagan. However, she leaves behind a family who adored her deeply: her beloved husband, Brian E. McClellan; her cherished son, Richard; her dear stepsons, Anthony, Jeremy, and Matthew; and an extensive network of ten grandchildren along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Patricia's professional life was marked by her admirable 38-year career as a military forces employee with the federal government, where she demonstrated dedication and resilience. In 2004, Patricia retired and soon after, she began her second career as a bookkeeper at the St. Clair County Co-op in Pell City, Alabama, where she continued to contribute her considerable skills.

Her passions extended beyond her professional achievements. Patricia found true joy in farming and tending to her cherished canine and equine companions. Her love for animals was matched only by her love for her family, and she was known for creating a nurturing and lively home for all who visited.

Patricia McClellan will be remembered for her warmth, generous spirit, and unwavering dedication to her family and community. She will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
