Patricia Anne Mizzell

Patricia Anne Mizzell, lovingly known as "Anne" to family and friends, passed away on Saturday, July 19th, 2025, surrounded by her family. Born to the late St. Elmo Hoff and Flora Rae Hoff, Anne lived a vibrant and full life defined by her outgoing spirit, unwavering determination, and deep love for her family. Anne spent her professional life caring for others, dedicating many years as a nurse technician in the medical field. Her compassion and commitment to her work left a lasting impact on her patients. She truly loved the water, Anne found her greatest joy waterskiing, boating, and spending sunny days on the water. Whether she was behind the boat or hosting a gathering, she was always the life of the party; energetic, fun-loving, and impossible to forget. Anne was a proud strong-willed woman who faced life head-on with resilience and heart. Above all else, she treasured her family. She was a devoted wife to the late Craig Kimberly Mizzell, with whom she shared more than 30 wonderful years of marriage filled with love, laughter, and adventure. Anne's legacy lives on in the memories she created with the people she cared for. She is survived by her loving children: Lawarence James Mizzell (Lacie), Brian Kimberly Mizzell (Kim), and Amber Rae Newsom (Fon); her grandchildren: Bexley Mizzell, Brinley Mizzell, Brian Mizzell, Jr., Hunter Newsom, Allison Newsom, and Jackson Newsom; as well as a great grandchild, Kyzer. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Craig Kimberly Mizzell; as well as her parents. A gathering of friends and family will be held on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, from 4pm to 5pm at James A. Dyal Funeral Home. A celebration of life will begin at 5:00pm in the Chapel.
