Patricia Rose Mosher

Patricia Rose Mosher, 86, of Traverse City, died Monday, October 13, 2025. She was born August 2, 1939 in Lake Leelanau, the daughter of Louis and Esther (Ossie) Denoyer.

Patricia grew up in Lake Leelanau and graduated from Lake Leelanau St. Mary Schools. She was a waitress at the Bluebird Restaurant and was voted runner-up of Ms. Lake Leelanau. She worked many places throughout her life, including RL Polk, Tru Fit Trousers, and Burwood Clock Company. She also owned The Other Place, a comedy club on Garfield Avenue. Before moving to Meadow Valley, Patricia lived at Bay Ridge where she made many good friends. She loved to play cards, go out to lunch, and take part in many of the other activities available to the residents. Earlier in life, she loved to cook and knit; she made many blankets, sweaters, hats, and mittens for loved ones. More than anything, she loved her family.

Patricia is survived by: her daughter, Chris (William) Ockert of Traverse City; grandsons, Tyler (Gabriela) Ockert of Chicago and Brian (Alison) Ockert of Williamsburg; and great-grandchildren, Charlene "Char" and Samuel "Sam" Ockert.

Patricia was preceded in death by: her parents; and siblings, Thomas, Marcella, Doris, Lawrence, Ronald, Bernard, and Cletus.

Memorial services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Monday, October 20, 2025, at Beacon Cremation & Funeral Service, 511 S. Garfield Avenue, Traverse City, Michigan 49686. The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 AM.
