Patricia Ann Nowak, age 86, of Delafield, WI passed away peacefully with her loving husband Norbert by her side on October 22, 2025. Pat was born on July 24, 1939 in Waukesha, WI.
Pat is survived by her husband of 48 years, Norbert Nowak. She is also survived by her five loving sons, Chad Dalzin (Lisa), Derek Dalzin (Michelle), Vance Dalzin (Diane), Blake Dalzin (Jennifer) and Michael Nowak (Inger Lise), grandchildren Ryan, Taylor (Erin), Bryce, Lauren (Scott), Drew, Connor, Austin (Kaitlyn), Mitchell, Jenna, Louis and Joel and great-grandchild Elliot. She was also the fond aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Pat is preceded in death by her sister, Rose Duerr and parents, Leona Hansen and William Sereno.
Pat grew up in Milwaukee, WI, where she was a 1957 Milwaukee Pulaski High School graduate. Pat worked at Inryco in Milwaukee for many years where she was proud of her work as a union steward, a position she held for ten years. While raising her young family in Milwaukee, she was also the PTA president at her sons’ elementary school, Louisa May Alcott Elementary.
Pat and Norbert moved to Delafield, WI in 1979. There she worked at McAdams Shop-Rite in Wales at the courtesy counter and Dave and Shar’s Lumber Inn. She was a member of St. John Chrysostom Episcopal Church for forty years, where she volunteered in the thrift store.
In retirement, she enjoyed quilting and sold her creations at craft fairs. She was a board member for five years at the Oconomowoc Area Senior Center, where she also volunteered and enjoyed participating in the Friday morning poker games. She also volunteered at the food pantry, Three Pillars Senior Living Community and as a poll worker for the city of Delafield. Pat loved playing bingo, reading and watching the Packers and the Brewers. Her favorite flower was yellow roses. More than anything, she loved spending time with her family and friends.
Visitation will take place on November 5, 2025 at Pagenkopf Funeral Home, 2228 N. Silver Maple Lane, Oconomowoc, WI, from 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm. The burial service will take place on November 6, 2025 at St. John Chrysostom, 1111 N. Genesee St., Delafield, WI, beginning at 11:00 am. The burial will be followed by a luncheon at the church. All are welcome.
