Patricia Maryann O'Donnell

Patricia O'Donnell, 85 of La Plata Maryland passed away peacefully at INOVA Fairfax Hospital VA on Wednesday, August 20, 2025 surrounded by her loving family. Pat was born on August 25, 1939 in Harrisburg PA and is the daughter to Robert H Jaminson and Barbara V Mullins, and was adopted by her stepfather George K Mullins. She will be lovingly remembered by her devoted husband of 69 years, William (Bill) K O'Donnell from McKays Beach, St. Marys County MD. She is preceded in death by her sister Joyce Overton and great grandson Rhett W McClure. Pat was a devoted mother to four children and her legacy will be carried on in the hearts and lives of her children; Kathy (Jim), Mike (Kelly), Bill (Brenda) and Kandy (Gary). She is survived by nine grandchildren; Aaron, Allison, Page, Kevin, Jenny, Stacy, Brent, Bryan and Breanna and twenty two great grandchildren. Pat found joy in sharing her fond memories about her employment as a School Bus Driver at Friendly and Accokeek Bus Lots, her time as a Bank Teller in Bryans Road, and finally as the Office Manager at her son's Heating and Air Conditioning business in White Plains. Pat was a fun, loving and giving person who poured herself into the happiness of her family and friends, never missing family birthdays and holidays. Her favorite leisure activity was bowling with her school bus driver friends, hanging with her children and visiting Florida. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Service will be held at Raymond Funeral Service Church on September 2,2025, at 2pm . A follow-up remembrance celebration will be held at the American Legion post 82, 6330 North Crain Hwy in La Plata MD,20646.
