Patricia O’Connor, 83, of Indianapolis, passed away on September 14, 2023 at home surrounded by her loving family. Patricia was born in Hammond Indiana, to the late Earl & Jean O’Connor on August 25, 1940. Patricia worked for several years as a Customer Service Manager for Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Illinois. She was a Master Gardener and shared her knowledge with plant lovers around the world. She loved feeding any animals that showed up on her porch, especially cats. Pat served as a feline rescue patriot helping those homeless cats become spayed and neutered in her community. She enjoyed interacting with local radio personalities which delighted her family. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and was a loving and caring grandma.
Patricia is survived by her daughters; Robin Olbrich and Kristine (Scott) Schutte, grandchildren; Emma (Nick) Males, Sarah (Frank) Vasquez and Henry (Jaclyn) Schutte, great-grandchildren; Oliver & Evelyn and brothers; Bobby Connor & Jimmy Connor.
Patricia is preceded in death by her siblings; Howard, Betty, Deloris, Mollie, Billy, Beverly, Dick, Mason, Jack & Frank.
Patricia’s Life Celebration® Memorial Gathering will be held at O’Riley – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, 6107 S. East Street, Indianapolis, Indiana, 46237, Thursday, September 21, 2023, from 4:00pm-6:00pm, with a Memorial Service immediately following at 6:00pm.
