Patricia J. Papada, 62, of Berwick, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Friday, July 5, 2024 at Emmanuel Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation, Danville.
Born January 16, 1962 in Berwick, she was the daughter of the late Carl T. and Eleanor M. (Brown) Davis.
A graduate of Bloomsburg Christian School, Class of 1980, she went on to earn her certification as a dental assistant at Luzerne County Community College. In her early years, she was employed at the former Bonanza Family Restaurant in Berwick and the former Hotel Magee in Bloomsburg. More recently, she worked in Home Health.
Mrs. Papada was a member of Stillwater Christian Church. She appreciated the music of Christian bands and attended many concerts, and enjoyed good restaurants, walking and exercise, shopping and traveling. She was a big fan of the Golden State Warriors.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Ronald C. Davis.
Patricia is survived by her husband of 42 years, Philip J. Papada; her daughter, Brooke Papada, at home; and two sisters: Kathleen, wife of Jim Henry, of Orlando, FL, and Debra, wife of Gene Robbins, of Bloomsburg.
A visitation will be held Saturday, July 13, 2024 from 10:00 A.M. until the time of funeral services at 11:00 A.M. at Stillwater Christian Church, 39 McMichael Street, Stillwater, PA 17878, with Pastor Jeffrey Farley, her pastor, officiating.
Donations in Patricia's memory can be made to Stillwater Christian Church at the above address.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Mayo Funeral Home, Inc., Berwick.
