Patricia Parnell

Patricia Parnell, 84, formerly of Liberal, passed away peacefully at the VNA Hospice House on Sunday December 21, 2025 in Vero Beach, Florida.

She was born on May 27, 1941 in Akron, Iowa to Ronald and Martha Violet (McDougall) Burke.

Patricia graduated from Westfield High school back in 1950's in Iowa. She married Donald E. Parnell Febuary14, in the 1980s. He preceded her in death on December 24, 2003.

Patricia loved living in Florida and eating at the varies restaurants along the water ways, she also enjoyed reading books, spending time with her family and friends.She was loved will be missed by many.

Patricia is survived by four children: two sons; Tom Adkins of Omaha, Nebraska, David Adkins, Arkansas, two daughters; Julie Leatherbury, Vero beach Florida, and Michelle Meyers, Liberal, a granddaughter Warren of Vero beach, She has several grandkids and Great kids. Deborah Burke, also numerous nephews.

Patricia was also preceded in death by her parents and bother; Michael Burke passed away January of this year, Father Ronald passed way in 1997, Her mother Martha passed away in 2010; Her Niece Alyssa Ann Violet Chapman Bowman.

A Celebration of Life Service and Inurnment may be announced at a later date.
