Patricia "Pat" Ann Hill

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Patricia "Pat" Ann Hill, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, who peacefully left us on December 20, 2024, at the age of 76. Born on January 28, 1948, in Canton, Georgia, to Robert and Ollie Mae Ingram. Pat lived a life full of love and dedication to her family, her community, and her faith.

Pat dedicated many years of her life as a special needs bus driver for Cobb County Schools, where she touched the hearts of countless children and their families with her compassionate spirit and unwavering kindness. Beyond her work, she was a proud graduate of North Cobb High School, where she excelled as a standout basketball player in 1966. Her love for sports carried through her life, evident in her support for her children and grandchildren's endeavors.

A longtime member of Kennesaw First Baptist Church, Pat embodied the essence of community and faith, often finding solace and strength in the company of those she cherished. Her home was a gathering place, filled with the aromas of delicious meals as she showcased her culinary talents. She was a passionate gardener who found joy in nurturing her plants and sharing her harvest with others as well as her love and affection.

Pat is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Marshall Hill; her daughter, Kimberly Hill Jones (Kelly); her sons, Michael Keith Hill (Christy) and Steven Mark Hill (Shanda); her brother, Robert Ingram (Pam); her sisters, Dot Bickers ( Al) and Peggy Baxter(Darrell); and her cherished 9 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren with 2 on the way. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive Pat. Her legacy of kindness, resilience, and family love will forever remain in the hearts of those she leaves behind. Pat was preceded in death by: parents Robert B. and Ollie Mae Ingram and sisters Roberta, Sue, Carol, and Barbara.

The family invites all who knew and loved Pat to join them in honoring her life. A visitation will be held at Clark Funeral Home on Monday, December 23, 2024, at 11:00 am, followed by a funeral service at Sam Clark Chapel at 1:00 pm. A graveside service will take place at the Georgia National Cemetery on Thursday, December 26, 2024, at 2:00 pm.

In celebrating her life, we remember Pat as a beacon of love, strength, and warmth. Her spirit will continue to inspire all those she touched.
