Patricia Peter, 79, of Belford, NJ, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, September 1, 2025.
Born in Washington, D.C., Patricia was the daughter of the late Stanley and Ethel Lin. She grew up alongside her younger brother, the late Jeffrey Lin, in Jersey City and later made her home in Belford.
Patricia was a graduate of St. Dominic Academy in Jersey City. She went on to build a life filled with love and devotion to her children, grandchildren and especially her husband, Roger Peter, with whom she shared 52 cherished years.
Pat was passionate about cooking, and her kitchen was always filled with warmth and the comforting scents of delicious meals. Her greatest joy came from watching her grandchildren shine on stage, on the field, and on the ice, as well as showing off their photos.
Patricia is predeceased by her parents, Stanley and Ethel Lin, and her brother, Jeffrey Lin. In addition to her husband Roger, she is survived by 4 children, William Purcell and his wife Kris, Linanne O'Brien and her husband Dennis, Cheryl Peter-Rodarte, Roger S. Peter and his wife Bernadette, and 8 Grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 6th from 1pm-4pm at the John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, Middletown NJ.
A funeral service will be held at 3:30pm.
Arrangements are under the direction of John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, Middletown.
