Patricia Rea Quick, 77, of Oquawka, Illinois, died at 7:02 a.m. Friday, September 5, 2025 at Mercer Manor in Aledo, Illinois.

Pat, as she preferred to be called, was born September 4, 1948 in Geneseo, Illinois, the daughter of Elder Essex and Betty Marie (Tillie) Ingle. Pat graduated from Walnut Community High School as part of the class of 1966. She later went on to attend Black Hawk College in Moline, Illinois, receiving her culinary arts certificate.

Pat worked at numerous places using her culinary skills and worked for a time as a delivery driver for DHS. In recent years, Pat was a caregiver for Ryan Simpson for several years. She was active in her community, serving on the women's auxiliary for the Oquawka Fire Department, the Henderson County Ambulance service volunteering as a driver, and as a storm tracker for the fire department. Pat was an avid motorcyclist and enjoyed other hobbies such as boating, camping, and car shows.

Pat is survived by her three children, Joe (Gina) Tillie of Louisville, NE, Tina (Jim) Bower of Omaha, NE, and Tracy Humbert. Pat is also survived by her companion, Bill Tobias of Oquawka; one brother, Stanley (Maggie) Ingle of Aurora, Colorado; and one sister, Christine (David) Pypher of Grimsby, Ontario, Canada; along with numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Along with her parents, Pat was preceded in death by a brother, Eldon "Mooch" Ingle; and a daughter, Teresa Lommell.

Cremation rites will be accorded. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Turnbull Funeral Home, Oquawka, Illinois. Online expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.watsonthomas.com.
