Patricia M. "Pat" Richer, 69, of North Syracuse, passed away peacefully at Loretto Nursing Home on September 28, 2023. She was born in Syracuse, daughter of the late William Wereley, Sr., and Veronica (Desimone). Pat worked over 30 dedicated years as a Dietary Technician at James Square. She enjoyed cooking, baking, and crossword puzzles. Above all, she loved spending time with family and friends, especially her beloved grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by her husband, Clarence L. Richer III in 2021 and her brother, Lenny Wereley.
Pat is survived by her daughter, Tracy (Cliff) Hopkins; her son, Clarence "Bo" (Jen) Richer IV; stepson, Tom (Janell) Richer; five grandchildren, CJ, Cameron, Adriana, Olivia and Megan; two brothers, Larry Dimore and William "Billy" (Heidi) Wereley, along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, October 4, 2023 from 4:00 – 6:00 pm, immediately followed by a funeral service in celebration of Pat's life at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY. A graveside service will take place at 11:00 am on Thursday, October 5, 2023 in Woodlawn Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest next to her husband Clarence.
