Florence Ann Richer, a beacon of love and faith, passed away peacefully on July 30, 2025, at her home in Bradenton, FL, at the age of 87 with her devoted husband at her side. Born on September 6, 1937, in Detroit, MI, Florence, affectionately known as Flo by her loved ones, lived a life marked by devotion to her family, unwavering faith, and boundless generosity.

Florence was the loving wife of 67 years to Donald J. Richer, with whom she built a life full of shared dreams and cherished moments. She was a beloved mother, survived by her daughter Karen Cornish (John) and Danielle Nihranz (Jason), and was preceded in death by her daughter Kimberly. She was a devoted grandmother to Patrick, Paige, and Natalie, who were the light of her life. Florence was a caring sister to Irene (Trupiano) McCloskey, Michael Trupiano, and Marianne (Makurat) Mazzenga, and was preceded in death by her brothers David Trupiano and Gilbert Makurat.

A proud graduate of Annunciation High School in Detroit, class of 1956, Florence's education laid the foundation for a life of service and love. While she considered her role as a devoted wife and homemaker her life's greatest achievement, she also played an integral part in the success of Richer Sales Company as its Vice President, supporting her family and husband's endeavors with grace and tenacity.

Florence's Christian faith was the cornerstone of her existence. She lived out her beliefs through acts of kindness and daily prayers for her family, whom she supported with unwavering encouragement. Her home was a haven of hospitality, where she delighted in hosting and fellowship with friends. Traveling was one of her many joys, but nothing compared to the time spent nurturing the spirits of her children and grandchildren.

Florence Ann Richer's life was a testament to the enduring power of love, faith, and service to God which was embodied in her daily prayer, "Oh God, I love you, may you make me the person you want me to be; may your will be done through me"
