Patricia Margaret "Pat" Riesner

1947 - 2021

Patricia "Pat" Margaret Riesner, 74, of Westminster, MD, passed away on Tuesday, October 5, 2021, at Bridging Life Dove House, formerly known as Carroll Hospice in Westminster, MD. Born on June 14, 1947, in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late Chester Edward and Alice May Barlipp Becker. She was the beloved wife of the late John Joseph Riesner, Sr., who passed away in 2016. Pat retired from South Carroll High School as a teacher. She was a member of the Red Hat Club and was treasurer of the Retired Teachers association. She was also a member of Delta Kappa Gamma, a sorority for teachers. She enjoyed spending time with her family, watching the Baltimore Ravens, and doing arts and crafts with her grandchildren. Surviving her are children: Aimee Austin of Hanover, PA, and John Riesner, Jr. and wife Amy of Manchester, MD, grandchildren: Gabriella, Hailee, Tylor, and Landon, brothers: Donald Kirk Becker and wife Lorie of Manchester, MD, and Chester Edward Becker and wife Ann of York, PA, brothers-in-law: Bill Riesner and wife Sharon, Paul Riesner and wife Karen, Mark Riesner and wife Debbie, and sister-in-law: Mary Clare Mazurkiewicz and husband John. Pat is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces. The family will receive visitors on Thursday, October 14, 2021 from 3-5 and 7-9 pm at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, MD 21102, where a funeral service will take place on Friday, October 15, at 11 am, with Pastor Rodney Gross officiating.
