Angola, IN - Patricia Ann Ritter, 97, of Angola, Indiana, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 1, 2026, at Lakeland Rehab & Health Care Center in Angola, Indiana.
Pat was born on May 11, 1928, in Angola, Indiana. She was the daughter of Wymond L.C. Sr. and Clara (Talbott) Ritter. She graduated Salutatorian from Angola High School in 1946. Pat received her bachelor's degree from Indiana University in 1950.
She worked as the accountant supervisor for GMAC in Fort Wayne, Indiana for 33 years, retiring in 1985.
Pat was a member of the Angola United Methodist Church since 1937. She had also been a member of the Steuben County Women's Club and a 75-year member of the Order of Eastern Star, Ashley Chapter.
Surviving are her nieces and nephews, Margaret "Peg" (Jerry) Kloock of Jackson, Michigan, Anita Riley of Harvey, North Dakota, Jay (Delite) Ritter of Otterbein, Indiana, Douglas "Doug" Ritter of Port Orange, Florida, John Ritter of Danville, Indiana, Michael "Mike" (Cindy) Ritter of Fremont, Indiana and Mark (Dianna) Ritter of Post Falls, Idaho. Also surviving are many great-nieces and great-nephews and great great-nieces and great great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Wymond L.C. Ritter Jr., Jack Ritter and Donald Ritter and her nephew, Wymond Lee Ritter.
Funeral Services will be at 6:00 PM, Thursday, January 8, 2026, at the Weicht Funeral Home, Angola, Indiana with Pastor Chuck Fenwick officiating.
Visitation will be 4-6 PM, Thursday, January 8, 2026, prior to the service at the funeral home.
Private burial will be in Mount Zion Cemetery, Steuben County, Indiana.
Memorial donations may be given to Angola United Methodist Church, 220 W. Maumee Street, Angola, IN 46703 or to the Community Humane Shelter of Steuben County, 780 Shelter Lane, Angola, IN 46703.
