Patricia J. Rozelle, lovingly known as Pat, was a beacon of light in the lives of many. Born on August 24, 1944, Patricia dedicated her life to the service of others and the creation of joy in every possible moment. A resident of Hancock, Wisconsin, Patricia's life was marked by an unwavering dedication to her family, her faith, and her community.
Patricia's professional life was in retail sales, where she worked at the Younker Department Store and Pritzl's Trading Post in Rome for a short time. However, her heart was always at home, where she nurtured her family and honed her skills in sewing, a hobby she cherished. Patricia and her beloved husband, Allan Rozelle, were married on May 28, 1966, and together, they built a life filled with love and laughter. They lived in Beloit for 35 years, where Patricia also worked part-time at First National Bank, Kmart, Sears, and spent 10 years as a receptionist at the Beloit Clinic. In 2003, Patricia and Allan moved to Hancock, WI, marking a new chapter in their wonderful journey together.
Patricia was a dedicated member of the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Wisconsin Rapids, where she worked passionately on the Care Committee and helped prepare church bulletins. She was also a valued member of the LOGS Group and the Altar Guild at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Beloit. Patricia's unwavering faith was a testament to her strength and dedication, a legacy she leaves behind for her family and all who had the privilege to know her.
Patricia is survived by her devoted husband, Allan Rozelle, her son, Joseph (Sarah) Rozelle, daughter, Helena (Matthew) Schaefer, and her beloved grandchildren, Laura, James, Dean and Alexander. She is also survived by her sisters, Connie Nicolai, BettyJane Alt, Charlene (William) Schubert, and brother-in-law, Brian Rozelle. she is further survived by many nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends. Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Arvel and Betty Nicholai and her sister Deanna (Vincent) Daugherty.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 27, 2025, at 10:00 am at the Good Shepherd Evangelical Lutheran Church in Wisconsin Rapids, followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 am Burial will follow in Hamilton Holiday Cemetery in Leola.
