Richard Allen Rozelle, age 63, of Winnfield, Louisiana, passed from this life on Saturday, June 7, 2025, in his hometown of Winnfield. Born on October 30, 1961, Richard was a lifelong resident of Winnfield and a man whose presence left a lasting mark on those who knew and loved him.
Richard was an avid outdoorsman who found peace and purpose in nature. He spent his professional life as a skilled carpenter, taking pride in building and crafting with his hands. Later in life, his determination led him to pursue and earn an Associate's Degree in Business from Northwestern State University-an accomplishment he held dear.
Above all, Richard cherished his role as a father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. His family was the center of his life, and he was deeply proud of the generations that followed him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth Dale Rozelle and Jewel Henderson Rozelle; his sister, Linda Bumbalough; and his brother, David Rozelle.
Those left to honor his memory include his sons, Joey Rozelle and wife Betsy, and Jeremy Rozelle; his grandchildren, Landon Walker, Jolie Rozelle, and Drake Rozelle; and his great-grandchildren, River and Rory Walker. He is also survived by his sisters, Laura Bryant of Dry Prong, LA, and Karen Dunigan and husband Jimmy; his brother, Kenny Rozelle and wife Tina; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at Garden of Memories Cemetery with Rev. Lamar Carpenter officiating.
Serving as pallbearers are Joey Rozelle, Drake Rozelle, Jeremy Rozelle, Kane Rozelle, Kenny Rozelle, and Chris Rozelle.

Richard will be remembered for his quiet strength, his love of the outdoors, and the legacy of love he leaves behind in his family.
