Patricia "Trisha" Sample

It is with deep sorrow we announce the death of our mother, Patricia Sample, who sadly passed away on November 14, 2024, at the age of 65. She was a wonderful mother who was always there when we needed her the most, offering support, wisdom and love in abundance. A daughter, sister, aunt and a friend to many, she was a cherished member of the Akron/Tallmadge community leaving behind a legacy of kindness and strength as well as her warmth and generosity. 

Trisha was predeceased by her husband Ronald Sample, mother Darlene Adams and sister Sandra Adams and leaves behind her pride and joy, her cat Chelsea, her children Michael Phelps (Kristy), Melissa Phelps (William), Matthew Sample (Lindsey) and step-daughter Wendy Glendenning (Chris), her grandchildren Dylan, Jay, Andrew, Isabella, Kayden, Caitlyn, Anthony and Odin. Her dad Jerry Adams, her sisters Debbie Harris (Ed), and Susan Neff along with a niece and nephews, great-niece great-nephews and a countless number of friends. 

Family and friends are invited to visit Friday, November 22, 2024 from 12 to 1:00 p.m. at Newcomer, Akron Chapel, 131 N. Canton Rd. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will take place at Tallmadge Cemetery. Everyone is invited to a wake at 4:00 p.m. at the Akron Turner Club, 547 Munroe Falls Rd., Tallmadge, OH 44278.
