Coventry, RI – Patricia A. (Major) Scudieri, 60, died surrounded by her loved ones on Friday, May 2, 2025, at Kent Hospital in Warwick.
Born in Pawtucket, RI on March 19, 1965, to Robert L. and Margaretta (Moody) Major, she graduated from Coventry High School in 1983 and worked as a front-line supervisor at BJ's Wholesale Club, Coventry for 23 years.
She loved to listen to music, especially when it meant cheering on her son Daniel at his gigs - there was no place she'd rather be than in the audience, singing along with pride in her eyes. She enjoyed cooking and hosting her family and friends. Her meals were always something everyone raved about, made with love and served with joy.
Trish will be remembered as a woman who was deeply loving, endlessly supportive, and full of joy - a bright spirit who found beauty in everyday moments and never missed a chance to celebrate the people she loved. She gave of herself selflessly, always putting others before her own needs, and found purpose in helping those around her, often without being asked.
In addition to her parents, Bob and Margaretta, she is survived by her four children: Daniel Scudieri (wife Sarah), Taylor, Evan and Adam Scudieri; by her sister Lois Benjamin (husband Michael); by her brother William Major, and by her nephews Shane Benjamin (wife Bailey & their daughter Emma) and Cameron Benjamin. Trish was a beloved "Mimi" to her granddaughter Claire Lyn Scudieri.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, May 7 from 4:00 – 7:00 PM at Carpenter-Jenks Funeral Home, 659 East Greenwich Avenue, West Warwick. The funeral will gather at the funeral home on Thursday, May 8 at 9:45 AM followed by a mass of Christian burial celebrated in SS. John & Paul Church, 341 South Main Street, Coventry, at 11:00 AM. Interment will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
