Patricia Ann Standl

Patricia Ann "Pat" Standl, 84, of St. Augustine, Florida, passed away on December 4, 2025 at the Bailey Family Center for Caring.

She was born in New Jersey and grew up in Union, NJ to the late Peter and Helen LaGregor. She met her husband and together they moved to Toms River, where she lovingly raised her family and worked for many years as a dedicated medical secretary.

In 2006, Pat retired to Fort Myers, Florida, where she discovered a deep love for the beach. She especially enjoyed collecting seashells, and she and her husband spent countless hours walking the shoreline of Sanibel Island searching for treasures by the sea. In 2022, they relocated to St. Augustine to be closer to family.

Above all, Pat cherished time spent with those she loved. She adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and found her greatest joy in being surrounded by family, creating memories filled with warmth, laughter, and unconditional love.

She is survived by her husband, Walter Martin Standl, Jr., daughter, Karen Vahey (Glenn); grandchildren, Caitlin Fay (Paul, Jr.), Taylor Vahey, Cassidy Vahey; great grandchildren, Theo Fay, Otto Fay, Khalil Roberts and sister, Kim LaGregor. She was preceded in death by her son, Michael Joseph Standl.
