Patricia E "Pat" Staniewicz

Patricia "Pat" E (Goodspeed) Staniewicz, born on December 3, 1940 in Boston, Massachusetts, to the late Nora (Crehan) Goodspeed, passed away at age 77 on November 24, 2018 in Worcester, Massachusetts.
Pat attended and graduated from St Gregory's in Dorchester, MA.
Pat raised her five children with the late Albert W. Staniewicz. She was preceded in death by her brother, Walter Goodspeed; and sisters, Mertie Goodspeed and Norene Killelea. Patricia is survived by her son, William Staniewicz (Dana); daughters, Kathleen Donovan (Sean), Ellen Muckstadt (John), Patricia Leavitt (Barry), and Jean Staniewicz; her brother, William Goodspeed; her sisters, Kathleen Dew and Marie Kollker; and grandchildren, Andrew Donovan, Mary (Donovan) Harrigan, John P. Carr, Sarah (Jones) Eguia, Jamison Muckstadt, Nikolas DiRenzo, Michael Staniewicz, Emily Staniewicz, Danny Staniewicz, Alaina Staniewicz, Russell Lindskog, Danny Lindskog, Dylan Fuhs, Ricky Pottle, Billy Pottle, and Reaghan Pottle.
Pat loved her heritage and anything Irish, and in years past frequented local establishments to sing and dance with her family and friends to Irish music. She fulfilled her lifelong dream by visiting her family's homestead in Ireland and hosted family from Ireland at her home on many occasions. She also loved to spend time at Castle Island in South Boston and watch the flights in and out of Logan airport while enjoying a hotdog from Sullivan's.
Pat was often referred to as "the life of the party", loved to play jokes on people and was an avid bingo player during her residence in a nursing facility.
Memorial Service to be held at St. Gregory's Church 2221 Dorchester Ave., Boston MA at 11am on December 8, 2018. Her remains will be placed with Albert at the Bourne Veteran's Cemetery in a private ceremony to be held at a later date.
