Patricia Stroschein, 85, passed away peacefully on April 16, 2025, surrounded by her loving family at her home in Tower Lakes, Illinois. Born on March 17, 1940 in Melrose Park, Patricia lived a life full of love, kindness, and unwavering devotion to her family and friends.
In 1965, Patricia married the love of her life, Ron Sr., and together they built a beautiful life. They settled in Palatine in 1969, raising their family in the tight-knit Peppertree subdivision. In 1987, they moved to Trout Valley. When Ron passed Patricia moved to Lake Barrington Shores in 2006.
Alongside her husband, Patricia successfully ran Chicago Leasing for over 20 years, building a respected business through hard work and integrity. She also gave her time generously, volunteering at Good Shepherd Hospital, always ready to help others with warmth and compassion.
Patricia had a remarkable gift for making people feel special—she never forgot a birthday and always had the perfect card ready. She was truly the best friend and family member anyone could ask for—thoughtful, loyal, and full of grace.
She is survived by her beloved children, Ron Jr. (Sheri) Stroschein , Susie (Rob) Manfredini, and Mark “Otis” Stroschein; her cherished grandchildren, Ronnie III Stroschein and Nick Manfredini; and great-grandson, Levi Frede. Patricia also leaves behind her dear sisters, Carol Merry and Linda Bobin. She was preceded in death by her sister June Johnson and brother Larry Kuhlmann.
Patricia’s love, warmth, and thoughtfulness touched the lives of everyone who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered. Patricias family would be honored if you felt so moved to make a donation in her name to St.Colettas
