Patricia R. Sucha

Patricia R. Sucha, age 79, of Darien. Loving mother of Deborah (James) Chereskin, Bradley (Lynne Rinck) Sucha, Eric (Laura) Sucha and Carolyn (Brian) Zelina. Devoted grandmother of Jeremy (Angela), Kelsey, Ryan, Kellie and Kevin. Great-grandmother of Gianna. Dear sister of Howard (Loni) Neumann. Fond aunt to many. Patricia was preceded in death by her siblings Darlene Scanlon, Sandra Wesley and Randy Neumann. After staying home and raising her four children for several years, Pat worked in the offices for Amlings Flowerland and then went on to be an office manager for Action Valves and Automation until she retired. She was a great caregiver for family throughout her years and loved being a grandparent. She was an avid reader her entire life and enjoyed cuddles with her cats as she read. She will be missed greatly by her most recent cat, Charlie. Pat enjoyed travel and took many trips with her friends and through park district programs. After she retired, Pat enjoyed volunteering at the Humane Society and Good Samaritan Hospital. Pat had an enormous laugh that will be fondly remembered. Visitation 10 a.m. – 12 noon Saturday Nov. 23 at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 301 75th St., Downers Grove, where a memorial service will be held at 12 noon Saturday. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Hinsdale Humane Society would be appreciated. Funeral info 630-964-6500
