Jill Joanne Sucha entered God's hands on September 27, 2023 at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. Jill was born September 16, 1977, in Grinnell, Iowa to Robert Fix and Joyce French Fix. She graduated from Grand Island HS (NE) in 1996. She graduated in 2000 from University of Nebraska-Kearney where she was a member of Chi Omega Sorority. She went on to graduate with her Juris Doctorate from Creighton University in 2005. Jill married the love of her life, Tim Sucha, in 2006 where they made their home in Gretna, NE as she worked for the State of Nebraska. They later moved to Burleson, Texas in 2014 where they continued their story of love together. She will forever be remembered for her intellect, wit, amazing singing voice, and love of family and friends far over the love she gave herself.
Jill is survived by her husband Tim, father Robert and stepmother Jennifer Fix of Burleson, Texas, mother Joyce French Fix of Grand Island, NE, mother-in-law Judy Sucha of Schuyler, NE, sister Angela (John) McGrath of Chuluota, FL and beloved nephew Matthew Fix, sister-in-laws Theresa (Joe) Crum, and Amanda Sucha, Omaha, NE. She was preceded in death by grandparents Jack and Faunie Fix, Eugene and Marguerite French, and father-in-law Dana Sucha.
A celebration of life will occur later this fall. In lieu of flowers, any memorials can be contributed and will be directed to the Denver Health Foundation- ACUTE Center for Eating Disorders Unit in Denver, CO.
